Emily's academic rigor and vast involvement in both politics and economics allows her to maximize Havard’s Political Economy Program’s resources. Outside normal coursework, she will be able to fully utilize the opportunities to take classes in the Kennedy School, pursue Political Economics research with top professors like Dr. Tingley, master languages in the Intensive Summer Language Program, and more. With Harvard’s resources, she will be prepared to become a truly transformative economic policymaker.

Activities
Beyond academics, Emily plans to immerse herself in Harvard's one-of-a-kind community. She aims to join the Model UN Club, the IOP Policy Program, and Wushu (Modern Kung Fu) Club to further her interests in politics and martial arts. At the same time, she will give back to the community through using her: past secretariat experience to help organize High School Model UN conferences, USA Kung Fu Team training to win national collegiate titles for Harvard, and Lion Dancing Knowledge to found a Lion Dancing Club at Harvard.
